When does it make sense to purchase a used forklift?

  • Companies and managers purchasing used forklifts will find that reconditioned lifts make better fiscal sense in many cases depending on usage.   If you are using the truck no more than 5 hours a day – 5 days a week and are not in a high usage environment like a Distribution Center a used forklift could be a better option.

  • If you are using your truck a full shift or two shifts per day per week a new lift may be more cost effective than a used unit.
